Born in May 1984 in Ekim Village, Udung-Uko Local Government Area of Oro Nation, Akwa Ibom State, he stands as a proud son of the soil and a steadfast defender of indigenous rights and dignity. He holds a degree in Environmental Protection and Resource Management from the University of Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria, where he cultivated a profound understanding of ecological balance, environmental justice, and sustainable resource utilization. Professionally, he has served with the Warri Refinery and Petrochemical Company, Delta State, as a Safety Officer, where he played a vital role in enforcing environmental and occupational safety standards. His dedication to environmental stewardship and community safety underscores his belief in responsible development grounded in integrity and law. Mr. Bassey serves as a Director with the Diaspora Africa America Networking (NGO) and is an active member of the United Pan-African Movement (UPAM) — a strategic partner to the Rapid African Plan (RAP). Through these roles, he continues to strengthen global Pan-African collaboration and advocate for unity, self-determination, and collective progress across the continent and its diaspora. He is also the Co-founder of: - Alkebulan Tranquila Ornate Mega Investment Company (Nigeria) - Alkebulan Platinum Investment Cooperation (Ghana) Through these ventures, he promotes indigenous entrepreneurship, sustainable economic growth, and African-centered investment rooted in the principles of integrity and self-reliance.
